Dr Juno's targeted tutoring, coaching and mentoring for college and uni students from undergrad to PhD

UNBLOCK AND TACKLE

I support undergraduate and postgraduates through their uni courses and out the other side: tutoring, mentoring and coaching them with their degree programmes, special projects and dissertations, supporting them in building strategies and systems for managing all aspects of their academic and non-academic lives, and helping them design and create the future they want.

Whether it's a last-minute deadline crisis, or steady, ongoing, weekly support, I can help you, too, unblock and tackle the academic and other challenges of student life.

About Dr Juno:

I have a PhD in cross-cultural theory and methodology from the University of Bristol, UK, twenty years’ teaching experience and innumerable hours’ experience of tutoring, mentoring and coaching both neurodiverse and neurotypical undergraduate and postgraduate students, and those whose native language is not English, through the countless ups and downs they face as they progress through their programmes. â€‹

Dr Juno is a member of the UK Advising and Tutoring (HE) Association

How can I help you?

I help undergraduates and postgraduates who for any reason feel they would like additional support with their programmes. Whether you're a non-native English speaker getting to grips with a new education system, or you're coming back to academia after a long break, or you're an ADHDer (pre- or post-diagnosis) needing strategies for managing a complex project, I can help with any aspects of your student life - you, your academics, and the rest of your life are an inseparable team! So while I am there for you as an academic personal tutor, my approach is holistic and I deliver the necessary balance of tutoring, mentoring, coaching and TLC as required; helping you build systems and strategies that will support you in your daily life as well as your academic work and your transferable skills. I am also there for you should you wish to explore the transition time away from uni or college and help you think about how you want to move forward in life after your studies. From having the confidence to defend yourself in class, to nailing that dissertation, just tell me how I can help you!

All programmes are built on mutual commitment:

  • being led by you, understanding you, the issues you face, and what you hope to achieve by the process is fundamental to its success;

  • your agreed commitment to your chosen package that will help you bed in strategies and systems and see specific results;

  • and an agreed flexibility in the process.

Whichever package you choose, your programme will be yours alone - both tailored and flexible to work for you and your requirements, learning styles and preferences. Take a look below at examples of what we can work on:
